Shandong power Equipment Company is a large state-owned enterprise subjected to Shandong Electric Power Group which is the sole subsidiary of National Electric Network Company. It was built in 1958, and now it has 700 workers, covering an area of 11.5 hectares, with total assets of 400,000,000 Yuan. The enterprise mainly designs and produces all kinds of large power transformers specially used for transmission and distribution system and power station supported products of 600MW and those of below degree. Now it has formed a product pattern with electric transformers of 220KV and those of beyond degree as its leading products, and also including electric transformers of110KV and those of beyond degree, power station fans of below 600MV as well as utility boiler environment protection sweeteners and power station spare fittings of 300MV.Among these products, the annual cost volume profit relationship of electric transformers of 220KV lists fifth in domestic trade of the same kind. The annual productive capacity of electric transformers is 12,000,000KVA; that of power station fans is 300 sets. The annual gross industrial output value is 500,000,000 to 600,000,000 Yuan; sales income is close to 500,000,000 Yuan.

       Under the support of National Electric Network Company and Shandong Electric Power Group, our factory has established a powerful sales net with electric network as its fixed market, and has formed a firm market pattern with electric network market as its major part while supported by electric transformers, fans and power station sweeteners. Now products are spreading over more than 20 provinces, cities and municipalities, and are making for international market. The enterprise has possessed the ability to design and make large supervoltage electric transformers of 500KV. Now it has put into services 2 groups of electric transformers of 500KV; one group is used for Shandong’s electric network and North China electric network connection, which plays a decisive role for mutual offerings and charge allotment of national electric network between south and north as well as for easement of electric power gap in North China. Electric transformers of 240,000KVA in Nanjing Road, Qingdao, which were designed and made by our factory for auxiliary projects of Olympic Games to be held in Beijing, have received favorable comment from business circles because of their excellent properties and appearance qualities. With a high product quality and a powerful market operation, our electric transformers successfully entered Indian market in 2004; now they are put into production swimmingly. Based on the outstanding achievement in international market, this year we succeeded again in entering Nigerian market, and received an order of 4 electric transformers of 330KV. This not only fills up the gap of Shandong province, but also makes us the first enterprise to enter the international market of electric transformers of 330KV.

       Taking values of “win-win harmoniously; develop continuously”, following National Electric Network Enterprise spirit of “exceed hard; pursue perfect”, persisting concept of “explore market to survive; improve techniques to create benefit; deepen reform to be impetus; think only of development”, our enterprise tries hard to build an enterprise of harmonious development. The enterprise develops rapidly and steadily; its scale merit has had an alphabet appearance. Now it has become the largest development and production basis of electric transformers and fans both in Chineseelectric power system and in Shandong province.

       The enterprise was successively designated as “Famous Brand of the Same Tradeat Home” by National Quality Institute and Commodity Institute; electric transformersof LunengChenming Brand were selected as “Shandong Famous Brand” in 6 years consecutively. It has a perfect quality assurance system; in 2003, it received two country-level certifications, namely, quality IS09001 and environment IS014001. The enterprise holds good faith as its fundamental, and won the title of “China Honoring Contract and Keeping Credit Enterprise” in 5 consecutive years. It has a prefect after service system, and won the title of “China Electric Power User Friendly Service in 2004”.

       Our enterprise has possessed modern means of production and detection on the whole. It has established a computer management network platform for product design and management control, and has achieved OA office automation. In recent years, under the direct care and support of National Electric Network Company and its manager Liu Yapeng，the Company has successively appropriated a technology reform capital of nearly 100,000,000 Yuan, used for technology reform of workshop and important equipment. The enterprise holds powerful technique strength, an outstanding technique group and a perfect development system. Now it has more than 200 workers with college education background and more than 50 technicians directly engaged in product design and development; among these there are more than 20 senior engineers and those of professor level. The whole product design work has realized CAD design; important components adopt parametric and dimensional design; perfect technique guarantees continuous improvement of product property. Moreover, the enterprise also closely cooperate with many colleges and scientific institutions; study together to combine scientific research with production. In recent years, new products have been developed every year, and some of them won advance of science and technology award granted by provinces, cities and companies. ODFPS-167000/500 Project of Rizhao, Shandong, and ODFPS-250000/500 Project of liaocheng, Shandong, respectively won the third class and second class advance of science and technology award granted by Shandong Electric Power Group.

       During “the 11th Five-year Plan”, our country will construct a firm electric network with extra high voltage electric network as its main project; electric power has a large potential market.
